I forgot how much I missed seeing trees and forests and fall foliage! Our short weekend getaway to Oregon was so refreshing, albeit a little cold, but refreshing and rejuvenating nonetheless! We hiked to Tamanawas Falls and the air just smelled so crisp and sweet the entire time, like cinnamon and pine! I could not get over how good and fresh the air smelled....is that strange? Does that mean California smells bad? I don't know. Lorzone was probably so annoyed. I'm pretty sure I asked him over a thousand times if he could "smell that"..lol. Since our stay was so short, we didn't really get to explore Portland or anything else, but will definitely be back soon!
