We had some of our favorite people visit us this past weekend, and I swear, it's as if we've never been apart! Those are the good kind of relationships you want in life. The kind that you can sit around with and do nothing, but still have so much fun just being in their presence. Lorzone and I have been really lucky to have visitors almost every month! It's definitely made our year out here in CA go by a lot faster and less lonely for sure, so thank you to everyone who's visited us this year and still plan to! We'll be here for a while :)
Meomeo definitely was not shy around Cana and Wa! He made himself comfortable right away, kneading away at Cana's tummy and sleeping on top of Wa's head the first night. Sully also showed much courage not scurrying away to hide in his bathroom closet getaway when they arrived. We spent the first day or so in Burbank, then headed to LA to pick up Choua EE from the airport to start our staycation in the heart of K-Town!
Since we couldn't check in until midday, we spent the morning getting breakfast at The Commissary at the LINE hotel, met up with Money and Chrisco, had some drinks at this small bar, walked around looking for parks and then finding one that later turned out to be a school, got led astray by Cana's GPS and walked a few extra blocks looking for the market that was across the street from our airbnb, and then finally headed to our place only to find that the owner provided the wrong code to his master lock.

Once we made it in, we did what we do best, eat and lounge around!! We also used bowls to drink out of because we couldn't find the cups...and 'cause we AZN like that. We eventually ended up at break room 86 for 80's night and then finished the night at dirty laundry. Since LA is so weird about bringing in DSLRs, I didn't get to capture all the cool things we did at night.
The next day, we met up with Cat and Dom at Grand Central Market for brunch, where I got to see my first live protest! It was pretty cool. After that, Money and Chrisco drove back home to San Diego while the rest of us spent the afternoon hiking up to the Griffith Observatory and ended the night with some board games, thanks to Fey! Overall, albeit short as always, time spent with family and friends is always such a blessing. It's great to know that there are those you love who love you back so earnestly. It'll be a while, but can't wait until the next time we see everyone again!
P.S. a HUGE thank you to my big sissy Cana for making sure I was in some of these photos :)
